It was a run I was never going to go far in. Pushing Jamie in the pram, a stiff wind off the desert and a pretty hot day to boot all added up.
Ended up running 3.83 km in the 30 minutes at an average pace of 7:50 mins/km, average heart rate of 149 bpm.
Pushing the pram and a strong head/cross wind (damn wind died when it would have been a tail wind lol) increases my exertion for the same pace, meaning I can’t run as fast. Then the heat slows down my recovery rate when I drop to a walk. Ah well, I’m 30 tomorrow, so it’s good to finish my 2nd decade off with a tough run 🙂
