Week 1 Marathon Challenge Complete

Finally! Some nice running weather!

Did the 6km in 38:40.

The time is wrong – I run that loop all the time and 6km is never that long. The garmin kept jumping between 6:00 pace (I thought I was going around 6:15 at the time) and 7:30. Looking at the tracked map, it was wobbling all over. My guess is it was 300m too long. No matter.

I finished really strong and am just starting to get the itch to do some speed training. Not yet. Must wait til February when I have a solid base.

Week 1 of the Marathon Challenge is complete. I’ve run 46km at an average of 6.57km per day.

Feeling fantastic and really starting to get some rhythm back.
