It was very windy out today. Ended up finding a bridge I didn’t know existed, which opens up a whole new area to run nearby.
Ran my best time to date, even with the last km straight into the wind, without shelter.
Ran 4.55 km in the 30 minutes at an average pace of 6:35 mins/km, average heart rate of 152 bpm.
It’s really difficult to control your heart rate in the wind as it keeps getting pushed up when it should be coming down. Plus I find it gets harder to breathe, especially through my nose. Ah well. Good to get in before it started raining too heavily!
