Last night was the first night I was alert enough to work through the night.
I broke it up with a couple of episodes of Hawaii Five-0 at different intervals, but it was extraordinarily productive. I’ve also managed to keep that going through today so far, though I took time out between 6am and 8am to meditate and spend time with Cat.
I really believe I’m adjusting to the different sleep schedule and it’s an awesome feeling!
I think the meditation may be one of the key pieces. It gives my brain a break and is great for relaxation. Nothing fancy, just a focus on breathing and calming the mind.
If I’m right, these next few weeks are going to be a time of unparalleled productivity. My business is at the point where I’m creating a number of products that will all work together. It’s not yet financially feasible to hire extra help, so I’m doing it all myself.
The bonus is that I absolutely love what I do. Helping people build their business through SEO is something I’m passionate about. I’ve had great results personally and it’s time for me to help others get the same results.
Out of anything I’ve read or done, the big goal that you can throw yourself into is the most important part of sticking to this challenge. If you don’t have a powerful reason for doing it, there’s no way you can keep going. It’s the only thing that’s kept me going through the toughest times.
If you’re thinking of doing this just because it’s cool and allows you to do so much more (which it does), I guarantee you’ll fail. You need more than that to get through the adjustment period.
